Is the Wildwood on the Lake pet-friendly?
We are sorry the Wildwood does not accept pets.

How far is the motel from Main Street?
Main Street is a ½ mile from the motel and about a mile away from the Olympic Center.

Can you smoke on the property?
The Wildwood on the lake is a non-smoking property. With respect to all guests smoking of any kind on porches, patio, deck, and rooms is prohibited. Smoking 30ft away from the buildings, near smoke towers or at the firepit, disposing of your butts appropriately will be appreciated by all.

Does the Wildwood have a pool?
Yes, we have an indoor heated pool with a hot tub and sauna and also have an outdoor lake fed pool during the summer months. The swimming facilities are not supervised by a lifeguard so we ask that guests follow the safeguards we have established.

Are there outdoor amenities?
Yes! We offer outdoor seating right on the bay of Lake Placid, charcoal BBQs, picnic tables, and a fire every night during the summer months. We also offer free boating services with our rowboats, canoes, kayaks, paddleboats, and stand-up paddle boards for all registered guests. Oars, paddles, and life jackets are kept in the office and must be signed out and returned to office. We have a 1-hour limit of boat usage and guests must stay in the bay of the lake.

Does the Wildwood offer free parking?
We offer free parking for registered guests only. Due to limited parking spaces, we only allow one car per unit.
